Tended to by the roots of the abundant and life giving ancient red cedar trees.  Its upper branches stretched horizontally; tips turned up.  Its branches below; curling downward.   As if to draw a circle of protection around itself.  Reaching in concert, both skyward and earthward.  Leaves arranged spirally, maiden leaves fixed at the golden angle, crone leaves varied angles of Fibonacci fractions.  The soft whispers of these verdant, needly leaves suspended in the dense, damp forest air – “dear, dare to care”.  Awakening us, proclaiming “kindness; this is the true rebellion.  join the revolution.  trust connection.  welcome openness”.  
 
The giant red cedar, an anagram for cread and creda.  Archaic forms of the Latin word credo, meaning “ I believe”.  Subtly extending an invitation to craft sacred personal articles of hope, articles of faith.  Reminding us connection and openness are sourced from our belief in love.
